Things you've unearthed in lock down
In between getting my garden ready for next years Chelsea flower show, with all this time on my hands also gone through boxes in cupboards that haven't been touched for 30 years and come across...

My old Cubs uniform that I'd completely forgotten I had, with distinctly less badges on the arm than I seem to remember

And one of those split West Ham/Celtic ski hats from the 80s that I'd also completely forgotten

What's anyone else found in the last few weeks?

My mum found three fishing reels that were given to me when I was ten and that I turned my nose up to at the time.

They belonged to my great grandfather and are about 150 years old. Two of them would need proper restoration from an expert, one of them though is still usable and will get an outing as soon as possible.

OTB

Replace the word 'box' with the word 'life' and you'll be nearer the mark.

How do you feel about Elon MUSK’s satellites Sold0?

Are they ruining your sky gazing?

Last couple of weeks have been pretty good for peering at the night sky.

Dinky Spitfire and Chieftan Tank from the 1970s. Boxed and all that (not quite mint), but not as valuable as you'd think.

Ho hum.

An old book worth a few quid. I think it's to do with black magic (I don't mean voodoo, I mean witchcraft and that)

Bungo...(sort of) same here, came across a load of old Hornby stuff last year, all good nick and from the 1970s...thought I was sitting on a gold mine until I looked at similar stuff on e-bay.

It's the Smurf with the astronauts thing on it's head that you've got to keep your eye out for apparently.

Old books are always worth looking up the prices of...quite a few times I've heard about a book from somewhere, thought 'I wouldn't mind reading that' and then seen that instead of the expected £2.99 on Amazon, it's listed at closer to £200...

One of my dad's old fishing rods, quick Google reveals its worth about 200 nicker, also in the loft a clear vinyl album that's listed on eBay for about 170
